FIFA FAN FEST RULES

 

All Online Qualification will use the retail version of FIFA 21 Friendly Seasons game mode on the play station 4. Players will have to add each other as Friends in the 1st party platform prior to playing. The default settings of the mode will be enforced automatically by the game, including difficulty level and allowable assists.

 

Additional guidelines that apply to all Online Qualification Matches:

 

Players are to be 18 years and above. Proof of ID and/or Passport to verify will be required.

 

Training Items are not allowed.

 

Players should record all their matches using the built-in recording on their console or external recording device, these should be saved and available to be uploaded in case of dispute.

 

Players should not harass, message or in any way attempt to distract or direct others to distract their opponent.

 

Players should not manipulate their internet connection to negatively affect their or their opponent’s connection or gameplay.

 

Players should each have a light-colored jersey and a dark colored jersey and should choose the opposite of one other to avoid confusion. If Players can’t agree, the home player should choose a dark-colored jersey and the away player a light-colored jersey.

 

In the event of a disconnect, the game should be resumed with an implied score and the remaining time in the match played out.

 

The player who plays ' home ' is responsible for starting a match.

 

Both opponents are responsible for contacting each other and playing the game.

 

Each team is required to take at least one photo of the score. This photo should contain: the score, the names and a time stamp.

 

Players should be prepared to report their scores immediately.

 

Finals play of each tournament stage will require players to record the matches to be picked up by PSG or uploaded online. 

 

 

When your next match is available in the schedule, you have to start directly. If the match doesn't start in 15 minutes, the player who doesn't show up in time will be disqualified.

 

League organizers have the right to change/update the structure and rules as deemed fit for the oration of the league

All matches should be played by a ´Friendly Match´

 

All matches have to be played with the online squads.

 

It´s forbidden to use custom formations, only the standard formations are allowed to use.

 

It is allowed to play with club and/or national teams.

 

The total score of a match must be reported by both players.

 

When the score of the players does not match, the players are supposed to upload a screenshot of the score within 10 minutes

 

 

 

League Mechanics

 

The league will be broken into two seasons; season 1 and season 2.

 

Each season will follow the below mechanics:

 

Season 1

 

Pool 1 and 2 Mechanics

 

• Week 1: 13th and 14th August 
  • 64 players registered per pool.

 

• • Group Knockout stage – Single elimination

 

• • 1 leg

 

• • Top 16 Players per pool qualify for the next semi-finals stage

 

• Week 2: 21st & 22nd August

 

• • 16 qualified players per pool

 

• • Semi-Finals Stage – single elimination

 

• • 1 leg

 

• Week 3: 28th and 29th August  

 

• • 8 players per pool

 

• • Finals – Double Elimination

 

• • 2 leg

 

• • No away Goals

 

• • In case of a draw a 3rd game is played

 

• • Silver goal in the first half and Golden goal in the second

 

The Top 8 players from each pool are invited to the Champions e-Cup

 

Champions e-Cup Mechanics

 

• Week 1: 4th and 5th Sept

• Top 8 players from each pool of season 1 – 16 players 
• Round robin 

 

• 1 leg

 

• Week 2: 10th and 11th Sept

 

• Top 8 players from each pool of season 1 – 16 players
• Round Robin format continue 

 

• 1 leg

 

• Week 3: 17th and 18th Sept 

• 4 players

 

• Finals – Double Elimination

 

• 2 leg

 

• No away Goals

 

• In case of a draw a 3rd game is played

PRIZES

 

The following prizes will be distributed to the Players based on their finishing position/point of exit from the tournament as stated below:

 

Winners for each Pool will receive:

• 3rd Place – Ksh 3,000 gift voucher via Sortika app

 

Winners for each Championship eCup will receive

Prizing Terms and Conditions

 

Prizes are not transferable. All expenses not specified above, including, without limitation, all taxes, and international tariffs, are the sole responsibility of the individual Winner.

 

Potential winners will be required to complete and sign a Declaration of Eligibility and Release of Publicity and Liability, and at the end of the tournament in order to claim the prize. If a potential winner fails to sign and/or return the Declaration of Eligibility, refuses the prize, or is ineligible to accept the prize, the potential winner forfeits the prize. Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules; all prizes claimed in accordance with these Official Rules will be awarded. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified or the prize is forfeited for any reason, PSG will award the applicable prize, time permitting given the nature of the prize, to the next eligible runner-up Competitor. Only 1 alternate runner-up winners will be chosen, after which PSG retains the discretion to do as pleased with the Prize. Potential winners may be required to provide ID documentation to prove they are the recipients and that they are above 18yrs old to receive the prize.

 

 

By accepting any of the prizes, PSG has the right to use the below information and any other information provided in the PSG Online FIFA FAN FEST League in the administration, marketing,

 

and promotion of the PSG online FIFA FAN FEST league, without further consent or compensation to you, unless otherwise noted below:

 

• Background info: Full name, country of residency, age, platform, persona (Xbox Live Gamertag or PSN ID), position on leaderboard in the month of qualification

 

• Football fandom info: Favorite professional football club, favorite professional football player, favorite FUT player item

 

• Social Media info: Twitter handle and Twitch account (if applicable)

 

• Other Information for Tournament Administration: Shirt size, dietary restrictions, mobile phone number

 

 

COLLUSION POLICY

 

Collusion is defined as any agreement among two or more Players to disadvantage other Players in the Competition. Collusion between Players is strictly prohibited. Any Players determined by PSG at any phase of the PSG Online  FIFA FAN FEST league to be engaging in Collusion will be removed from the competition, be forced to return any compensation and prizes they’ve received from the tournament.

 

Examples of collusion include, but are not limited to:

 

• Intentionally losing a match for any reason

 

• Playing on behalf of another competitor, including using a secondary account, to aid them

 

• Any form of match-fixing.

 

• Soft play, defined as a player not trying their hardest in an attempt to allow an opponent to run up the score and gain a Goal Differential advantage.

 

• Agreeing to split prizes.

 

• Allowing an opponent to score more or less goals than they normally would in order to impact the Goal Differential tiebreaker.
